About Lily Russell,

I have a degree in Human Biology and have always been fascinated by how the body works. I believe healthy living and a balanced lifestyle are so important for our happiness and well-being. I have a certificate in cross infection control, and I am currently studying for a diploma in oncology massage Before moving to Cornwall and re-training as a complementary therapist, I was teaching. I have worked in secondary schools in this country and in West Africa, mostly teaching biology. While living in Hampshire, I worked with primary pupils, both in mainstream teaching and with bilingual learners. I have been practicing complementary therapies for 20 years, and am trained in Anatomy, Physiology, and Therapeutic Massage as well as Hot Stone Therapy (ITEC Diplomas). I have VTCT Diplomas in Indian Head Massage, Baby Massage Instruction and Thermal Auricular Therapy (Hopi Ear Candles). My most recent qualification is in Thai hot compress massage. I have a Diploma in Pregnancy and Post Partum Massage, and am also a Peer Massage in Schools Instructor. I have delivered workplace massage (clothed, massage to the back, neck, shoulders and head) for employers in the Tamar Valley, and dental practices offering relaxation treatments to their patients. I am a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists and a registered, insured therapist. I live in Calstock, with my husband Tony. When I am not at work, I can often be seen out and about on my bicycle, or happily digging my veg patch.
