Thai Hot Compress Massage
Thai Hot Compress Massage by Lily Russell,
The compresses come from Supreme Organics, a company based in the UK, they contain 20 traditional Thai herbs, which have been used for centuries to soothe muscle and soft tissue pain, to treat inflammation, joint pain and other injuries. The herbs are packed into a muslin compress, or poultice, and these are heated in a steamer. They are used to give deep, warm massage – to iron out tension in muscles and joints. The treatment is especially good for addressing inflammation, improving muscle tone and easing aches and pains from conditions like arthritis, fibromyalgia and soft tissue injuries.
Different sized compresses are used to apply pressure and heat to different parts of the body. Small, fragrant compresses can be used to give a wonderfully detoxifying, uplifting facial treatment.
The traditional Thai compress contains:-
Zingiber Cassumunar Roxb, Tumeric, Zedoary, Lemongrass, Derris Scandens Benth, Cryptolepis Buchanani Roem & Schult, Kurtz Leaves, Pandanus, Kaffir Lime Leaves, Tamarine Leaves, Acacia Concinna Leaves, Bauhinia Acumirata Linn.
